Q.bo One use an internal EXCITER 4 OHM 1.5W 85DB speaker. It is robust and sufficient in enclose spaces with low ambient noise, such as your home or acoustically controlled environment like a museum.
However, we gathered from our forum and email feedback from users that many of our robots are used in open spaces or in events where they need to project volume at a higher level.
In view of the viable feedback, we have designed a small amplifier that connects directly to Q-board that will enable Q.bo One to connect to any type of speaker via a Jack connector.
This new add-on will be available to you as a Kit from November ( available yet! ) onward in our store and is available at an affordable price. It can be purchased fully assembled.
Installation of the amplifier is easy. Simply connect the amplifier's cable to the audio output of the Q.board and plug it to any audio system via the jack connector. You will be able to hear your robot speak even in a football stadium!
