Hello,

finally rececived my pre-assembled Q.Bo and I am glad. There is a lose rolled up USB cable inside. I havent dismateled the Q.Bo yet so I cannot see where it is coming from and what it is for. Any idea? Is it spare power supply or something? Since Cam and Mic and Servos works with the RasPi I don't think it is required to be attached?

Hi,

the usb cable loose is a second HD camera for developers. You can use both for depth, stereo or any other new visual features.

Hey guys ! Excellent work ! We are enjoying Q.bo very much.

One related question: is the Camera compatible with the picamera package in python ?  We tried to access the camera with this module but we keep getting random errors.  Using Python OpenCV works great.

Hi Faturita, thanks for your kind words.

The cameras provided with Q.bo are USB not picamera. This is why you are getting random errors from the driver.
